The Durango Arts Center is a nonprofit visual and performing arts organization located in Durango, Colorado. We enrich the community through innovative visual arts exhibits, live performing arts shows, and youth/adult arts education. Our goal is to advance appreciation and participation in the arts while promoting the amazing talents of local artists and performers.

DAC coordinates over 80 annual community events including exhibit receptions, theatre performances, artist lectures, and film screenings. We host the region’s largest outdoor fine arts and fine craft showcase, the Durango Autumn Arts Festival, which welcomes over 7,000 guests to downtown Durango!

Our exhibits and artist services programs engage over 500 artists annually, and DAC Education enrolls an average of 1,300 children and adults in a diversity of workshops and camps.

The Durango Arts Repertory Theater (DART) company  presents 4-5 professional productions and 6 children’s productions to over 5,000 patrons. The theater serves as a venue to over 60 organizations and business events each year.
